As part of the REMAIIN project, which explores extra-european influences in avant-garde music of the Old World, we will talk with Amirtha Kidambi and David Toop about the ways they incorporate, in the context of their work, Indian music (in the case of Amirtha) or the ample and in-depth study of sound in its pure state, and its internal, psychological, sociological and existential mechanics of listening (in the case of Toop).
